Hostel Rules

  1. General Conduct
    • All parents and guardians are expected to show respect and courtesy towards the students and school staff.
    • All students must behave respectfully towards teachers, staff members, fellow students, and hostel residents.
  2. Hostel Regulations

    In recent years, the misuse of smartphones has significantly affected students' academics and time management. Based on feedback from parents, the school has implemented the following hostel rules:

    • Keeping cash in the hostel is strictly prohibited. If parents send money, it must be kept securely by the student. No inquiries regarding money will be entertained.
    • Use of electronic devices such as mobile phones, laptops, tablets, desktops, and gaming devices is strictly prohibited in the hostel.
    • Confiscation and disciplinary action will be taken if unauthorized devices are found.
    • Students may make phone calls only once a week—on Saturday or Sunday—under warden supervision.
    • Any difficulties faced by students must be communicated to their subject teacher or the warden.
    • Online classes using digital devices will only be allowed as per the school’s schedule.
    • Books or materials like comics, novels, magazines, or storybooks that distract from academics are not allowed.
  3. Personal Belongings
    • Only students of Classes 10 to 12 may bring smartphones with written parental permission and must use them strictly as per academic schedules.
    • Students must maintain personal hygiene and carry their own toiletries.
    • Sharing or borrowing personal items is not allowed.
  4. Outside Food and Special Treats
    • Ordering food from malls, markets, or delivery services is strictly prohibited.
    • For birthdays, parents may send food worth up to ₹200 before 6:30 AM with prior warden approval.
  5. Dress Code
    • Wearing the prescribed uniform is mandatory within the hostel.
    • Students must wear school uniforms when attending school-approved events outside campus.
  6. Dining Etiquette
    • Meals must be taken on time, in a courteous and orderly manner.
    • Wastage of food is discouraged.
    • Keeping food in rooms or carrying it outside the dining area is not permitted.
  7. Health, Hygiene & Safety
    • All health concerns must be reported to the warden or hostel superintendent.
    • Cleanliness must be maintained in all hostel areas, including personal spaces.
    • Students must actively participate in cleaning their own rooms and surroundings.
  8. Co-Curricular Activities
    • Preparation and honesty in all exams and assessments is expected.
    • Participation in all academic, sports, and cultural activities is compulsory.
    • Fitness routines such as yoga, meditation, and sports are encouraged for overall well-being.
  9. Discipline and Vigilance
    • Students must report for morning prayer by 5:25 AM.
    • They must adhere strictly to the daily timetable and academic schedule.
    • Entering other rooms, disputes, or leaving without permission is not allowed.
  10. Entry, Exit & Permissions
    • All movement in or out of the hostel must be pre-approved by the school management.
    • Taking students off-campus without permission is not permitted.
    • Visitors are not allowed without prior authorization.
  11. Timely Fee Payment
    • Parents must ensure timely payment of all school and hostel fees as per the schedule.
